Let's face it. This place is dead.

When I started All World Final Fantasy in 2002, I was looking for a place to call my own, where I could experience running my own website. I never imagined that this place would become as popular as it did. From 2003 to 2005, this was one of the most popular Final Fantasy websites on the internet. Before the first major data loss, AWFF Forums had nearly 1,400 active members and 175,000 posts. Even through changes and the loss of an entire history of posts, people kept coming and remained dedicated to this website. Over the past couple of years, several members have continued to visit this website, attempt to revive it and maintain the activity. However, the fact is that things are not the same, and they will never be the same as they once were. There is no website that links to this forum, and the only people that actually come here anymore are the few people that have it saved in their favorites. The run was great while it lasted, but I've come to terms with the fact that it's over, and I would rather end it now than watch this remain as a wasteland for years to come. Darryl is running a great website over at http://www.gamingunion.net, and is building a great community. My days for running websites are through, as I am busy working at a bank, maintaining a house, and trying to start a family. There were many memories made here, and I will always remember the fun times here. I greatly appreciate the efforts of the members who worked to try to revive this place, but the fact is it's just too late. Thank you all the memories, and let's not call this the end of the story, but rather the end of a chapter. There are many great video game websites out there (Darryl's included), and perhaps we'll cross paths at one of those. For now, thanks to you all, and I'll see you around!
